This book was not very interesting. The plot, details, and character development were sorely lacking. Also felt a little out of order at times and some things mentioned but never touched upon again. Maybe once this author gets more work under her felt she will do better but as of now I will

Eli and Grace finally kiss and the two of them plus his sister closed the portal between the two sides so everyone is equal. There was a brief mention of how Grace is very powerful yet that was not touched on again which seems like a wasted aspect or should have been brought up sooner. Incomplete sentences that just end have made an appearance. The plot of this books is horrible but the grammar makes it absolutely awful to read.

The devil was put into an interdenominational portal so he would be far from everyone. The whole fight sense was pretty jumpy and hard to follow but the conclusion is the devil was taken care of and the 3 are talking about reopening the portals between worlds

So now Grace has powers? No idea how she got them or why she has them but she can slow time down. God died by Samuels hand.
Here’s the thing this book is a 1.5/10 if the author was more established the story would be great but the grammar is so horrible that I just can’t wait to be done reading this book. On the other hand this was her first work but it didn’t even seem like she proof read before publishing

I trust me dad I don’t trust my dad. There is so much back and forth without any sort of reason or support. This book is really not great the grammar is horrible, wrong words are used and the communication between characters is not good. I understand this is the first book this author wrote but come on there needs to be better everything

Eli is back on team Grace and stood up to his dad I think? The details aren’t very good but that is the gist of the interaction. Eli is going to work with Grace from now on and is taking a stand against his father with the help of Grace. Eli is on the team and they were able to convince his sister. Who told them that someone is being held hostage in the most secret part and it is probably Graces dad, God.

Eli is working with his father who happens to be the devil that looks like he is wearing a Halloween costume…. Of what? Idk since it wasn’t said or mentioned. I don’t know if Eli is involved in the situation or if he is working Grace or has a different motive all together. I will finish it because I bought the book but the author has a lot of growth needed in the future to decent

The story is getting more interesting but at times it is hard to follow. Like I mentioned before, this book seems like it’s written for a person who knows the background for everyone which makes it good to read as an author but not as a reader. The grammar is still trash and getting worse, I understand how this happens but there is auto correct and other options to check work that id free so it should not be as bad

Explained it just kind of happens and I then I am confused how that was brought up. Eli has a sister who works with their father but Eli does not like his dad as he abused him mentally and emotionally.

Just found out that this book is the first authors first published book and she is a young author. With that being said, this book is still quite confusing. It seems like plots just start out of nowhere. Such as Eli, can he read minds? It was mentioned but not sure if it’s true. This book feels like it was written for someone who knows the character before reading. There isn’t a lot of character development

This book is kind of difficult to follow. The character Eli was mentioned before he was introduced to the reader so I was quite confused on that part. However on the next page he was introduced and said they are in hell. I wonder if Eli can read minds since it seems like grace think a question to herself and then there is an answer. It just seems like the pages are just out of order. It makes it challenging to follow

Begin at chapter one. Grace’s father asked her to drop paperwork off at city hall which she did but while there stumbles upon a portal glowing white. She was tranced into going through and was surrounded by black when she reached the other end of the portal she is shocked to see a black light since on the other end was white. While coming to this realization Grace is attacked by something hiding and she is scared

The prologue started with a father and a daughter. The father rushed into the daughters room to give her a key but didn’t say what it was for. And said that he would be leaving for a little while. The daughter, Grace, asked why he has to leave as he is God. The father told her it was his responsibility and to protect the key given to her with her life. And that she is in charge while he is gone. Then the book truly
