I'm kinda getting bored. I'll come back to this when I feel like reading it.

Okay, the amateur, unprofessional writing is getting on my nerves.

'Max is protective towards you.'
'He was protective towards her.'
'WE FREAKING GOT THAT HE'S PROTECTIVE TOWARDS HER THE FIRST TIME, THERE WAS NO NEED TO MENTION IT 30 TIMES AFTER.'

The writing is a bit amateur. It's not bad enough for me to stop reading altogether, but it is irritating and lessens the credibility.
It didn‘t escape Nancy that she was very naïve either.
The h has been called sweet and naive at least 10 times already - I prefer an author to show me her naivety and sweetness, not tell me.

I do not like knowing the hero's POV. I definitely do not like knowing that he likes her, and has 'plans' for her. Ugh, why why did it have to have the hero's POV? It seemed so promising :(

I am only a little way into this book but so far it is unintentionally hilarious. The adult characters speak like teenagers. The pov switches from sentence to sentence, sometimes within 1 paragraph. But the best part is the diction. It reads as if it were written by Mrs Malaprop. As part of her new job, the heroine is given a cell phone, pda, car service, "excreta." She's at the hero's "beckoned call." Too funny!

Just started this one and have come across this on page 11: There is a standard package for the position, including a company credit card, cell phone, personal data device, car service, excreta.
Somehow I don't think bodily waste should be included in a benefits package, unless you're very kinky. I wonder what other howlers there are.
