I feel like Athena’s words and actions are anticlimactic (we have yet to see her reasons though, so I might be wrong).

“Little house on the prairie” is extremely rare in my country and I am somewhat disappointed by it, given the time, effort and money I put into obtaining this. I plan to finish it, in order to watch the new Netflix series, though.

It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s just that we saw a lot of characters through the life of Circe and the author clearly tried to put every greek legend there is, in the book. What I’m not getting is, is there a point to be made or is it just a bunch of (somewhat unrelated) stories of Circe, retold for the modern reader?

It’s only logical that after Odysseus I will continue with Sevda Kostova’s Penelopeiad. It seems like this book is not popular among foreign countries, although it has been nominated for a Nobel prize in 1999. Apparently, Margaret Atwood wrote a similar novel, which, I think, has not reached Bulgarian audience yet. I have really high hopes about this one, though.

While I like Mel Abraham’s youtube channel, so far I am glad I had already read Ramit Sethi and Dave Ramsey’s books. If I was just starting now with this topic, it would have been difficult for me to follow. I can’t pinpoint why exactly. I will give it a chance, though.

“Step and a path will appear” was the only sentence that got my attention. It’s the first sentence from the book and it goes downhill afterwards. This book is full of vibes, vagueness and positive words - one next to another, but it’s so chaotically written one can’t possibly grasp every concept, let alone apply it in life. Simply saying, this path did not appear to me.

Reading and watching the tv series along with it 🥳 My favourite way of consuming media 🩷🥳🩷🥳🥳

Dan, honey, I love you, but this book could have been 200 pages shorter 🩷 Yes, you did your homework and everything, but the main science revelation is… Whatever it is, it’s getting frustrating, and I have not been frustrated with a Robert Langdon book in a long, long time. I think I only hated “The lost symbol” among all.

WHERE WAS THIS BOOK ALL MY LIFE?

What I love about classic children’s literature is that you can’t go wrong with it. I will forever regret not reading more, while I was a child… Don’t get me wrong, I was reading A LOT, but books were a luxury to own back then (for me, specifically). Now I’m catching up!
