this is what happens when you binge watch ahs asylum

well, a few points were made

this is not a dark romance. this is pure abuse, grooming and manipulation. the fact that shy is treated like an option and not as someone who needs to be locked up in jail (with his father) is maddening. same thing goes for keenan. even if he’s not as sick in the head as shy he still sticks around waiting for mina to grow up. disgusting.

the plot is stuck. it feels like the writer didn’t plan out the story and kept making decisions while writing it. i’m about to end this book and i’ve learnt NOTHING about what’s going on. we have an alcoholic mother, and abusive stepfather, a controlling stepbrother with anger issues and then there’s mina…

just finished the first part. by the end of this book i’ll probably need a psychiatrist.
