The author uses the word “ash” a lot. A different descriptor needs to be used. Half the time it doesn’t even make sense with the story.

This book is starting to feel like it was written with AI. It has that repetitive, stilted style that is AI uses.

Sabrina said she lost her baby. What she meant to say is that she aborted or killed her baby. She did not lose it.

Why is Katie more mad at Sabrina than Apollo? He’s the one what made the marriage vows. What does she think, Sabrina forced herself on him and he had no choice but to sleep with her.

They go to the movie there in another “town”. They supposedly live in NY. There are so many people. This is not some small town that everyone keeps bumping into each other.

Mmc and fmc see Carol at the movie theater. Carol read the messages but Tyler gave them to her. What kind of brother embarrasses his sister like that? Tyler is to blame not some scorned coworker.

Apollo is a weak a$$ pu$$y. He acts hard but turns into a bumbling whimp whenever he has to man up in front of his wife. He acts like a woman.

Why is Sabrina still at Katie & Apollo’s house after Katie finds out? Why sleep over? She is roommates with Trilogy.

Why did Katie destroy Sabrina’s stuff but not Apollo’s. She only destroyed the tv, but everything of Sabrina’s. Apollo was her husband who cheated and instigated everything. Why go after only Sabrina’s stuff.

Why is it that Apollo leaves Sabrina when things are hard. He’s there for her when he wants to get in her pants, but leaves her when anything hard or uncomfortable happens.

Katie finds out about Sabrina and Apollo. She tells Sabrina to move out. Sabrina already has moved out. She doesn’t live with them anymore.

Why is Tyler and Sabrina at Apollo’s work Christmas party. I can kind of understand why Sabrina is there but not Tyler. Katie, Apollo and Tyler are not close.

I HATE her use of lyrical prose. I hate the similes and metaphors used.

Why did fmc call Tyler to take her to abortion clinic instead of a ride share company. He hates her for what she did to his sister.

Why is fmc surprised mmc is livid with her and upset. She aborted their baby and didn’t tell him or give in a say in the matter. It was his baby too.

It’s so frustrating the way the fmc keeps blaming herself for the pregnancy but Apollo does take any ownership. Just lets her keep taking the blame. He keeps discarding the fmc. Mmc is a manipulative, weak, weasel.

How does a 20yo not know when she is about to throw up. How does fmc and mmc not question if she could be pregnant when they’ve been having unprotected sex.
Why is fmc hanging out with Katie’s family when Tyler is there, and after the big fright between Apollo and Tyler.

Fmc really is a dumb childlike girl.

I do not like that a grown man calls his mom “Mommy”. It is cringy and weird.

This author has a strange obsession with her characters having long hair down to their butts and knees. I can count on 1 hand in my lifetime how many people I’ve seen with hair down to their butts, knees, or ankles.

Taking a break from this book. Elizabeth and her whole family is crazy and delusional. Mmc is simp. He is still having sex with Elizabeth when she wakes him in the middle of the night to supposedly keep her calm. He is telling the fmc to wait for him and he’s having sex with her. This last book has been a dumpster fire.

By book 7 you would think the fmc would develop a spine. She is a weak ass door mat. She’s apologizing to the mmc for sleeping with a boyfriend when he’s been sleeping with his wife nonstop. Even after they had sex.

I can’t stand the fmc. She talks too much. She thinks she is a b.a., but she needs help all the time. I keep yelling at her to just shut up and listen to the professionals.

The audiobook voice actor for mmc sucks. I did not like the feminist propaganda thrown in.

So far nothing is mentioned why fmc is so different and special. She just seems insecure, which is understandable after her recent breakup.

People are trying to kill the fmc and mmc is trying to keep her alive and find out who killed her sister and wants her dead. All she does is argue, scream, get loud, overall just being annoying and difficult. She is very frustrating.

I do not like that the mmc drives drunk a lot. He’s too old to be that reckless. It’s also pretty gross how the mmc and fmc end up kissing and sleeping together when they’ve worked up a sweat running around the park. They are sweaty and smelly.

So far I like book 1 more than 2. I’m struggling to keep reading this one. I understand why Lydia broke off the engagement. I just like a HEA, and this book was not necessary to me.

I’m not connecting with this story. I could care less about Walker and his weird fan-girling over Lincoln. I’m interested in how Olivia escapes her mom/manager situation. Walker doesn’t seem to pay attention to how weird Olivia’s situation is. He is just obsessed about getting in her pants again.

I do not like this one as much as book 1 & 2. Declan’s and Elle are way nastier than the other couples.

I like this one more than book 1 so far. I like the banter between fmc and mmc.

I think the author forgot she was writing from a man’s pov. She keeps saying “bestie”. Mmc sending his straight male friend a heart emoji. The Taylor Swift playlist.

ENOUGH with the Taylor Swift songs and references 🙄. I don’t know any straight men that listen to her music willingly.
