This is turning into a lack of communication/misunderstanding trope. It is one of my least favorite tropes. I will keep reading, but it might be a DNF if the miscommunication continues or gets worse.

Not a fan of the alien language but I will keep reading.

I like this author, but this book hasn’t gripped me. I like the Count of Monte Cristo adaptation. I will continue to read this, but at a more leisurely pace.

I was so excited to read a Dracula romance. So far it has been very boring. It literally puts me to sleep every time I read this book. I’ll try to keep reading, but this might be a DNF.
Based on other reviews, I’ll try another book by this author.

Extremely repetitive. Annoyances with details in the story and lack of research.

I’ve enjoyed the story up til now. Whitney’s obstinate and bullheadedness is getting on my nerves.

I’m not sure I like this so far.
