This will be the 2/100 for me this year. I read more than150 books last year, but this year I am going to write 5 books this year. So more writing and less reading is my goal!

So far this omegaverse with a different twist is good!

I am enjoying this fairytale retelling! I'm an emotional reader and read 'types' of books in bunches. Some months I will read nothing but smutty monster romance, other times, I will read splatterpunk horror, and sometimes I'll read heart-stopping sweeping emotional stories. Currently, I am on a fairytale retelling kick! I enjoy the different takes on the same story by different authors! It's a guilty pleasure!

I've been devouring longer books for a few wks now, so I desired a short read. Flipping around GR, I found this 43 pg book. Vamps are definitely my love subject & I'd never heard of this author before, so this is my first experience w/ their writing. This adult story is intriguing so far! I see Carlisle from Twilight in this book!
I am looking forward to finishing tonight - after I do my writing! :)

So far a really cute book! Dialogue is very P&P. Both main romantic characters are ordered by the Queen to the Monster's Ball to find spouses. Neither wants a spouse & is only there under duress. William (MMC) is a Duke & a mischievous, flaming blue demon! Penelope (MFC) is a grey-eyed, red-headed blue-stocking! They're childhood friends who haven't seen each other in years, since William was turned into a monster.

I'm unsure on rating this book. The writing's choppy & I feel like small but important bits of the plot were cut during editing w/o regard to how it would effect the story. I have to admit I don't like Antonia, she's a weak woman. Her totally unmedicated mental issues cause major problems & she needs serious help! I've decided that I like the Baron, but I wonder if it's really pity because he is stuck w/ Antonia.

The writing's disjointed; it makes you feel like you're JUMPING from scene to scene instead of FLOWING. I couldn't tell you the type of monster the Baron is, he's dangerously magical and weird. Antonia seems to be 'something' too. She finds out that her deceased father gambled her hand in marriage to the Baron, and then she agrees to marry him. My question is why? I am not feeling a connection btwn the 2 of them.

World descriptions are quite a bit different, but not unexpected, as this is a single series with multiple authors. If you ask 10 authors to describe one single leaf on a tree, you will end up with 10 different answers.

Third book in the series! Really enjoyed the first two. So far so good with this Goldilocks and the Three Bears retelling!

So far this is intriguing! A software designer has created a VR program called Perfect Match - it is supposed to match you with your ultimate sexual partner. Our male protagonist, Gabriel, has been fascinated with Breena for 14 years (since he was a junior in high school)! She is now a doctor with a youtube following and he has asked her to help monitor test subjects for the virtual reality program he created.

Slowly but surely making my way through this book. It should not have taken me this long but I am having a hard time getting through it. I really like the concept of the plot, I even like both of the main characters, - but the writing is so strange! It just throws you out of the story.

Bk 3 starts out good. Nerissa's pissed off bc she was manipulated for sex by Seth & Matt. She has lunch with Nick, the sheriff/detective, investigating the murder from Bk 2. He gives her info on a job at the grocery (that the murder victim had - kind of creepy!), and she gets hired. Nerissa is starting to get on my nerves bc she's getting whiny! I hope she gets over herself! See my note/highlight.

The beginning of book 2 started off really well, but as I am getting into it the dialogue of the main two characters Nerissa and Seth is kind of repetitious and rambling. I am still intrigued by the story though and hope that it works itself out!

I am so enjoying this little monster romance. Both characters are so cute, and both have some past heartaches to past before they can move on and trust again. I love Grandma! She's a hoot!

I am really enjoying this sweet read! Max and Chastity are a great couple. The story is written in alternating first person point of view between Max and Chastity. It really gives you a good insight to the personality of both characters.

Working and writing this Good Friday and Easter weekend! I will be working on getting my current work in progress (Growling In The Dark, Vampiris Bloodline #7) set up here on Goodreads (release date is July 2nd).

I had started reading The Hell Beast King, and then realized very quickly that I really needed to read this series first! I HATE THAT! So here I am having to read the OMNIBUS Afterlife series - which thankfully I had in my KU to be read. Pray for me - it is 12 books! The first four are almost 3000 pages! It's going to take me forever!

So far this is one hot shifter romance!

There are some things I like better, and some things that I wish were in this second book to deepen the world building brought forward from the first book.
