Grace's mother died in what she thinks is the result of arson. She now has to move to the embassy between Canada and Germany. Here, she already starts to get into trouble.

Jess is still alive and trying to survive. She buries up her dad's body to get bullets. Instead she also finds a map and energy bar. She uses the map to find a little cabin. Winter is coming and she now plans out what she will do when the men come back, and when winter comes.

This book is about a girl who is disabled in a car accident that killed her mom. She has to now live with her dad, a wilderness freak. Her dad gets into trouble with some people at his cabin in Alaska and dies. She is now up there alone and injured, and no one knows. She writes in a journal what she does everyday such as making a shelter finding food, and making a fire.

The book starts out telling the story of a girl who is going to go see her father she only met once. She meets his friend who takes her to his house in the middle of Alaska. It goes back and forth to before her fathers death and after, where she is having to survive in the woods.

The book starts to sum up what happened and how everyone is adapting to the death of the girls. It also explains how the death sentence date of one killer is set. Although, the public starts to feel sympathy for the guy. people protest and such.

Tom is completely off the hook and the four men who murdered are in custody. Tom is starting to prepare for the trail. They only found Julies body, but they still had the funeral. The other body was never found.

The book explains how Tom, the witness to the rape and murder of his cousins, goes to the police voluntarily for questioning. Soon though, they suspect him for the murder, and keep him in jail. He is treated very badly. The rest of the family grieve as they lost family, and now Tom is facing jail time and the death penalty possibly

The book explains the whole incident that happened. They tell how the three cousins were walking on the bridge on April 4th and three men attack them. They rob them, beat them up, rape them, and then push them off the tall bridge. Tom, the cousin, is the only one who survives the ordeal.

A rip in heaven is about the assault and murder of three teenagers. They are the cousins and brother of the author. So far it has just talked about her relationship with them which shows how well they all got along.

The character who has a drug problem was sent to a rehab, but she broke out. there is also a party that is supposed to be the end of the "movie." The main character leaves the party in order to help Sabrina not relapse. When he is gone, the directors decide that they are done with the movie and kicked out.

So far I like this book okay. It has been pretty slow until right around this time, It is getting a little bit better.. They found out that the people are filming them all of the time, and now they are trying to keep the actors in the movie. They are figuring out that everything that they have been doing for the past few months has been not real.

Seth and Annaleah start dating and Seth does not like Sabrina anymore because she is not real. They don't film much more movie because someone leaks the fact that Annalah's father was charged with assault and abusive. Also, later Sabrina is found out that she is a drug addict. This happens after she tells Seth that she is. They discover that everything has been getting out to the public purposefully by the directors.

Seth and annaleigh, the main characters have been pushed into the life of a movie star. It is very overwhelming for them. they go to more parties, and figure out what it is liked to be filmed all of the time. Sabrina, the celebrity actress tells Seth some of her feelings, and it weirded him out. Maggie is fired after leaking a story to the press. The characters spend Christmas with family.

Seth is an 18 year old who is an actor for commercials and some plays. He just finished playing in a shake-spear play as Romeo. An agent comes up to him afterwards and asks him to audition for a movie. He takes the opportunity as it will pay very well, and his dad has been out of work for a year due to a stroke. It is his first day on set.
