Definitely digging the audiobook better than the e-book.

Totally getting The Mummy vibes from this. So far, so good!

These feel shorter than his Martian Chronicles and Illustrsted Man short stories, but they're got more creepy vibes to them for sure!

I think I'm liking this version even more than the original.

✅️ Fully developed magic system.
❌️ Stupid names I can't pronounce.
✅️ Flashbacks to fill in world building.

A mostly promising start!

I wasn't expecting Buddhist teachings in this book, but it works so well with the plot! Love it!

Never thought the story within the story would be this good! 😂
