I was on the verge of audiobook slumping, so I busted out T. Kingfisher. And this one is on my Buzzword Reading Challenge board.

Okay, I'm gonna stick with it, but I've got it turned up to chipmunk speed.

"Surreptidious" is not a word. Ugh, I'm being very petty with this self-pub book. Maybe it's a sign I should DNF. I like it fine but I'm not really excited about it, and I think I want to be reading something else.

I don't know, I kind of think what Jack's doing is nice. Maybe it's more for him than for his mother. But it humanizes him for me.
