Yeah. This book feels flat and kinda like stereotyping southern living.

Y’all. I don’t feel like these characters have chemistry. This book feels very flat.

Guys, I swear to goodness. If it says anything about Madison’s hair being in her face or Lyla’s hair being piled in a messing bun I’m gonna lose it. Details are great but it’s the same exact phrasing over and over and over again

Okay… it is so obvious that the 3rd act conflict is going to be Evie finding these fucking papers and blowing shit up and not talking to Jasper about it. Lowkey it’s going to make me angry… I hate this miscommunication trope a bit

Okay… maybe this book isn’t for me. I really didn’t find Emmett being vulgar about sex when talking to the nurse funny. I found it kind of gross and rude. Like… the whole book seems to be about sex, not the infertility plot or their love story. It just feels kind of bland right now. Infertility is something I deal with now and it really isn’t a good aphrodisiac tbh.

Okay, I love a good sec scene as much as the next gal…. But 4/5 chapters being all smut is a bit much for me. Especially the FIRST FIVE chapters. Like, what happened to hi, hello, how are you?

Okay, so they have officially gotten to the middle of no where town they are reporting out of. I totally think that Keith sabotaged her, mark is not gonna come (likely Keith’s doing), and somehow Jackson is gonna save the day. I also feel like somehow they will be doing their own broadcasting and out Keith as a bad dude. That’s my prediction

Guys. I’m not loving the vibes of anyone in this book. I’m trying so hard to just push through so I can get into it more. I know I will love this book if I can just find my reading groove again, but I’m just struggling to get started. And everyone treating Delilah like shit is really starting to piss me off.
