Brian is one good man! I liked him for Meadow and I like him for Giselle. He is so family focused. His grandparents lives with him, and he’s a living and respected son/ and grandson. He’s falling-but I think she’s good people.

71% -still a slow simmering love for me. Thus, it’s taking me several days to read. A respectful couple, and their hearts are connected..it just moves slowly.

18% pretty good. Got my interest. Don’t remember the jacket synopsis of the book-so I’m eager to see who will be falling in love. The preacher for sure. I initially thought the love interest could be Mr. Showers, but he doesn’t have enough guts. The author just introduced Plain Elmer. He sounds brave, but plain. Maybe Preacher Octavia will stir his heart.

Not a super fast read. But slow and steady. Love on simmer, but beginning to come up to a boil. The story is respectful and mature. Anna Lisa has a solid network of family and supporters and she is a woman of praying about it first. I’m sticking with the story to the end

At 61% -only gotten to know the characters and their personal struggles. A little slow for me, but I know this author will bring in the HEA and wrap it up for a grand novel.

I don’t know much about the Christian group SAB, but in this particular church there are quite a few of unsainted saints. And the group is a traditional sect, and are surprised at their new female pastor. Some will use subterfuge to resist their newly appointed leader. But she can hold her own, and is not shrinking violet.

The book is a slower read than I typically do. I’m in o hurry to find out what happens next.

Not exactly a Christian read it has a bit more of sensual activity than other books I’ve read by Lindo-Rice.

Was enjoying book until about 40%, and then if morphed into many other characters. But all these folks in Kemball have a connection. Establishing the connection in Santos and Harlowe was too long for me, and bored my patience. I took a break bec I really want to know how the boy will get the girl, and who is responsible for the brewery fire.

26% this is such a heavy novel. Military bombs, children being attacked, deaths, overall sadness.

At 45% into the book, and it has drama. My heart hurts for Dr. Johnson. Love has shook her really bad.

I’m 68% in and had to take a break. I was getting anxious about what was gonna happen next, and what Nevette was going to find out, and where will she land. The book has been a bit heavy up to the point dealing with some hard stuff. Gang violence, death, still birth.
