-writing is soooo boring I'm sorry
-(mildly) interesting under POV of sexual expectations etc
-oh God the racism. "you are evil whether you want to or not (bc of Evil Jamaican heritage)"
-i get the characters in the story bc harriet is draining *me* as well. and I'm just reading about her
-^^ did appreciate that the vampire DRAINS tho. by her nature, the way she lives is through that draining. aspect i enjoy.

gripes with it:
-polidori DIDN'T write The Vampyre at Villa Diodati
-messy with the parallels
-cop out with the character's "murders"
Good:
-Claire Claremont
-the concept for the horror was good (execution was ok)

-Hal like My Immortal
Final:
-not fully living up to its potential. could've been better
