Seriously this book is like an uno game, with lots of reverse and +4 cards being played. It's emotional and all, but seriously it's like reverse cards being played all the time.

I like the feels, but it's not consistent at all.

It's not *THAT* cynical, grumpy smart ass no commitment bisexual russian MC but there are some definite vibes of him, but I also love this one. (No hockey at all, and that is more than fine with me...)

I love this amnesia and forget a loved one thing. And it's a non fluff book and I should respect it, but honestly I just do not like Sean at all and it is all his POV. I keep putting this down.

As an aside I have absolutely no idea what sport exactly this is, since I know Australia has several, but I honestly do not care !

Unfortunately, it was a meh. Half assed and seriously, so many people in acknowledgements and nobody can keep track of some details?

But the hinted next book in the series sounds oh so fantastic and likely with tennis... (I do not learn, maybe, I was so eager for this, it sucked, now I am all eagerly waiting the one after...)

Not as expected. Relationship just waffling around, stupid third act conflict. And so inconsistent in small details.

I need to mourn my expectations for a bit. Maybe I am a jinx of just released books ending up meh...

800+ pages, I would nor normally do this, but, yes, I am weak and had to check for myself and also the first chapters did hook me. It's a really powerful scenario!

Supposedly a black cat golden retriever thing. The grumpy character seems, unlike his thoughts to make friends so easily.

And I got a really hard time keeping track of which character PoV it is, even if they are supposedly so different.

Well, there is a kind of joke about who cleans the sex club. It's the thing I always think about when I read about sex clubs (how do you hire a cleaner for it??) and a book finally goes there for the joke.

But other than the joke meh. Angst without much reason, evil contriving women as antagonists, and no chemistry actually.

Rome is a plus though..

I could not get into Hamartia at all, but this was a try-the-sample thing and before I knew it it was way way too late. Fantastic so far.

Wait, there is a scene missing? When Orin and Tiiran have sex on their own and it just fades to black and it is confirmed they did have sex?

WTF? This book is 511 pages and it cuts something like that? Tiiran's feelings during it are important.

I am not normally the market for adorable free spirited talks-too-much (totally ADHD) MCs but OMG Nick is adorable, even for me. My stony heart melted. And Evan is good enough for him and likes him as much as I do, so I am charmed.

And it is totally Pretty Woman remade, though Nick is absolutely not having sex for money.

I should know better, by now, than to believe ARC team hype. But apparently I do not.

Not sure if it was the raised expectations but this is being very underwhelming...

And seriously, Jelly's financial situation is totally unrelatable. Enviable yeah, but unrelatable...

Definitely a voice and talent, and it is working for me despite the adopted brothers thing. But the first book was stronger...

2020 feels like a different century already.

And things which looked cool in 2020 which now are just looking dubious to me : people wanting to be social media influencers to the point of faking same sex relationships for it. And the whole concept .

Nobody does golden retriever black cat better than Jesse H. Reign. Nobody ever.

(mind you an important thing to remember about golden retrievers is that they are very smart and very stubborn...The black cat does not have a chance)

Plots I never thought I would want to read - a romance with a headless guy who carries his head around. But here we are just the same.

Lily Mayne might be able to pull it off, because so far it is fun...
