Well, this has never happened to me with a book by this author, but I am finding it boring. Choppy and overdramatic, playing coy with a reveal (if it does not happen I will eat my boots). Just get on with it.

It's not working for me. Unfortunately. Lucky you!Those short sentences, one word sentences, the whole drama being hinted. And I am just not believing in Connor. I will finish it, because of the whole tease with Havi but it's a big change in style and I am just not a fan.
🤣 yeah that’s a good point. I was just so taken by the whole depression, I completely missed the hints 😄 Hope you’re still enjoying the end though. And otherwise: hopefully you’ll enjoy the fact that Nash is out now. I’m very curious to hear your thoughts on that one. Spoiler alert: I was a bit disappointed…
The writing gets a bit more to my liking towards the ending, but I still have not finished it! Pretty unimaginable that I would keep putting down a Jesse H Reign book after a few chapters, it might b me..About Nash I am eyeing it but not sure when I will get to it! Because I am still mad Nash's LI was not Bean, I was shipping Nash and Bean together so hard, not sure if I want to read Nash after all! I am still checking NR Walker' s backlist (review soon) and some fanfics, and I think I am planning to try different authors. I am getting a bit burnt with the high publishing frequency of some authors!
