This wasn't the spiciest book i anticipated it to be... but it is very emotionally stimilating.

The accent changes are frying my brain. It hasnt been stated yes but i obviously know that he has MPD... still when it happened the forst time i thought it was a mistake, but after about 2 minutes i realized my brain wasn't playing tricks on me. I'm literally in chapter 1.

He does a TERRIBLE job at enunciating the word KNICKERS.

So much has happened in the first 3 chapters... im very flustered.

i forgot i was reading this book.

super dramatic beginning... like very over dramatized lol. finding it very hard to take it seriously.

I knew it. I talked to my husband for like an hour about who it could be, and I fricking knew it. lol I feel like I need more of a challenge now. I've been too spot on about my guesses lately in books, and I feel like I need me a good challenging mystery.

OMGGG... It's not going to end on a cliffhanger. I'm a little sad now, because that means this ending will either be rushed or anticlimactic. I am holding my breath and hoping for the best outcome because I've really enjoyed this book... This series is full of standalones, and I could see myself reading them when I'm in a book slump. I enjoy most of the characters I've met in this first book a great deal.

There's not much time left in this book and i quickly realized that it was going to end on a cliffhanger... i am to invested and now im deciding if i really am going to spend another credit on this read.... I really love Eli and jewel.

Honestly, only 12 pages in and this is pretty grotesque.. not for the faint of heart.

Girl Az is lying like hell to you!! I need her brain to start working ASAP... He is playing her like a fiddle, and she's going to piss me off something serious.

tbh.. Willow is a little dumb, and its frustrating me.. how do you claim to be a criminal but can't connect the dots about your suppoundings. I hate when authors do that. You give your MC a characteristic that requires them to be observant and smart, and then make them deliberatley obtuse and unaware of blatant signs. PLEASE STOP THAT.

Lys is my favorite so far lol... i like that hes just so aware and a little more brash about it. i know that all the boys were arae that will was there, but Lys was ready to risk it all lololol

i fear ive detached from this book.... I think ive reached my limit of what i would consider "too dark" for me, but as always, Joe Arden is doing such a good job with this narrartion... Maybe too good.

idk what I was expecting, but this is a juicy book. It feels like it's being told in a different time period, but it's current. That part is kind of trippy, but the story itself and the mystery of the missing bodies and animals with the two main families is so good... the sad relationship of the two main characters is kind of a bummer at this current moment, but the story is so good that it doesn't even matter.

Yeah no, how do you forget to close your door when you claim someone makes you so uncomfortable… I can tell this is gonna get on my nerves

i skipped the triggers cause knew I'd be okay, but man oh man... i really did myself in this time. This started out pretty freaking dark.
