Yeah.. this is the Halloween read I've been looking for all month... My blush is hurting my face, and I'm having a great time. I hate tentacles, but Ludas dont bother me at all. and thats how I was hooked.

I'm listening to the audiobook & I would recomnmend not doing so. I think the story is fine, but the way the female narroratte reads the male parts (even though there is also a male narrorator) makes the MMC sound more cocky than dark & scary. Its kind of ruining the vibe of the story tbh. I eman the MMC is an absolute asshole & not the hot kind, but shes not doing him any favors either with the voice acting.

Honestly, girl, same... I like a mask more than most people do.

I wasn't expecting Tor to help Angelo...it was a pleasant surprise. Earlier, he said, "Don't make me choose between his dad and him," but he chose, and idk why, but this genuinely made me smile. His morals were always good, and I hope he has his own story now.

also, corvin king really only has one sound, so listening to him try an do different voices is veryy.... different. Not a great time, but i appreciate the effort... although he just sounds like himself trying really hard to do bad accents.

im not sure how this is going to end, but so far, this is a little sad. Always having to rely on books to soley fulfill your desires seems so sad, yet real af. I do uinderstand that this is te realit for a lot of people, so I commend her Lauren for writing something so relateable.

at one point it was just straight filthy delicious and VERY VOCAL smut and then My chin hit the floor when the actual book ended and my heart started racing a little bit. Jonas is still and always will be my favorite, but i need mav to make things right again.

I’m unwell. I am listening to the audiobook and I must say, Joe Arden truly has outdone himself. I fear I will never recover from this…. lol not to put too much pressure on this book, but if it ends well, it will be my top book of 2025.

Wasn't expecting the reveal to be who it was... but Casimir is hot lol and Luke is not. I understand how that sounds, but it makes sense. 🤷‍♀️

This book is ... different. I know at its core what its about, but also like wtf is going on? the books takes the darker kinks to the extreme.
imagine the Pew Pew scene in Haunting Adeline, and actually making it go click...that's so crazy.
Im struggling with this book. I want to support what Calista is doing because yeah, they all deserve their fates, but also i just kind of want you to do it & be done with it.

I literally feel dizzy. I was panicking with real nerves trying to figure out how we got here. I am relieved, but also JAYCE IS INSANE. This book is giving me whiplash in the weirdest way possible.

I'm on like chapter chapter 9 and I'm finding it hard to want to finish it. The way they are written to be stupid actually makes me uncomfortable. Also this is not dub con or CNC, this straight up grape so far so I'm just really not too keen on the story. I'm debating on DNFing it but idk...

Probably the "darkest" book I've read this year, so far.

Jayce is crazy but emotional. He holds space for sympathy, but also is the cause of the problems. I'm not sure how to mentally process someone who is this kind of crazy. He's not a sociopath. I think he genuinely thinks he's doing things to protect Alana (besides the whole dub con thing), & that is making my brain work overtime.

lol hey man…his spice is what I expected, but his crazy is so nonchalant and that’s really been throwing me for a loop

Okay okay…. Not gonna lie, it’s a little scarier than anticipated. Nothing crazy has happened so far, but reading this at night when I’m a little sleepy really makes me feel like I’m in their atmosphere. Kinda off putting and creepy. I’m enjoying it so far, but I’m waiting for the stuff with her step dad and the boys to pop off… also nervous on what her deal is too and how she got there.

At the point I’m at right now… I’m not a fan of Easton. He has thoroughly pissed me off and honestly I hate how weak Ellington is being. Like I get the dynamic but also she’s making it so easy and then crying about how easy she’s making it. I’m not a fan of that.

Idk when I started reading this book lol but it’s been longer than usual and I’m finding it quite difficult to finish. I love a dark romance but something about this one really just isn’t clicking with me too well. It’s very well written and I think maybe that’s why. It’s very vivid and colorful and my imagination and imagery is scared lol.

Idk… this one might just be a little too much for me but ima see it through lol.

I doubt I’ll read the entire series, but i absolutely will be reading Izzy and James’ two books. This was 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and I wanna know how long it takes for them to get married. I can already tell she’s going to annoy the crap out of me, but I don’t care because I’m invested now.
