i’m too jaded for this sepia toned coming of age story. when the mc told me she moved three different places and tried three different colleges to find a place to belong i was like “that is…irresponsible.” like just bc i as a 23 yr old working person have trouble finding a place to belong doesn’t mean im gonna move to the pacific northwest like that’ll solve everything 😭

audiobooking this and you could not convince me that ilya isn’t some faux russian silver fox from his voice. the narrator makes him sound SO old

nearly a quarter way in and the only impression i really have is that this mc is whiny af LMAO
