Very right now criminal America. Same as it ever was.

Fast paced story about a couple of men and the bad choices they made and how it affects their kids women and families and themselves.

I love her writing I never want this series to end. Soledad and family have me wanting to read this straight through the night.

A father is home from jail after a crime he didn't commit and getting to know his daughter the mother kept out of his life while he was locked up while the mom married a cop..... although a cop set up the girls father.... interesting so far.

Forgot to update my progress. I finished this listen a few days ago and after the silly back and forth banter of I shouldn't be with him he deserves better and repeat repeat, I end up enjoying Sabrina's character. She's nerve wracking at first but then you start to understand her because she reminds you of your highschool friends that just want to keep everyone together. It was nice. Yeah, nice.

This was very entertaining. What you imagine some of your favorite bands lifestyles are like. Jennifer Bealls and Benjamin Bratt are so dreamy to listen to. The entire cast was great. Eddie was an entire trip. Loved his intensity and idgaf attitude. He had a Goodfellas mobster comedic relief vibe that made me laugh.

I absolutely love this family, this sisterhood, the cover of loss and depression was a sage to my soul because the counselors advice and beautifully stated words gave me tools to use in my own real life. Books are everything. This was perfection. Although, I am not going to lie, it felt like Bel-Air in a book with a few changes. Tell me I'm wrong. Lol

I need this to be a movie. ASAP

I love listening to Jennifer Bealls as Daisy Jones. Hard to put down musical story. Benjamin Bratt yes please.

OMG Josiah is more sexy than the first time I read this.

So far so very cutesy. A couple who is no longer a couple faking like they are indeed together in front of the people they know. Smoke and mirrors, so American.

I loved this group of sisters because they had a lot to deal with that broke them and put them back together. Highly recommend.

This is sad, raw and devastating. They are all suffering, and it makes me realize how much I love my three sisters and very grateful we did not have these issues to fight through.

This was a lesson in finding your worth when your family may have torn you down. That love, real love will be there for you while you first take care of yourself.

I truly enjoyed this historical fiction and romance all in one. So is historically romantic tales a thing? Lol of course, more Beverly Jenkins please.

Michael Corleone is the smart gangster I wanted to read about. But I think I will finally watch the movies. Not going to read the other two books in the series.

This is better than what I expected. I've never seen the movies because I wanted to read the books. So far though I love Michael Corleone because I can see the beautiful young Al Pachino playing him. Then I'm going to watch the movies and hopefully enjoy them too. I did hate how graphic the issue with the female surgery that took place ugh that was just out there.

I am loving this historical fiction of runaways to the community helping the enslaved escape. The love story between Black Daniel aka Gaylen and Hester. I'm listening to this one and ooohing and awing every time they are together and the lavish gifts and love he spoils her with.

Catching up with my books I've recently read. So after the second book I didn't think I would continue because there is one couple that enjoys having very rough sex and I couldn't get with it. I wanted to know about Ethic, Monroe, the twins, Masiah and the love triangle Morgan was in. One she thought was dead, one blackmailing her and one who really loves her no matter what. Then the damn cliffhanger.... again.

Bored out of my mind with this one. Okay with the everyday going outside to play as a child. OMG someone kill someone or something. I think this is all drown out to cover up lies. You don't remember this many exact days and dialogue. Did you hate your dad and why? Because all I see so far is him crying about and over everything. The dad has not done anything this far but be a stern dad annoyed by his cry baby son

Awe I love Kendricks and Maverick and the entire friends and family unit. Awe, I want love😭

I listened to the first on audiobook and then purchased the physical book 1 and 2 now listening to the 3rd book and haven't read the 2nd book I own. I DON'T CARE. 🤣📚❤️ I am single so I need these relationships to be fun, sexy and work.

Reread well worth it. I'm sure it won't be the last reread.

I really enjoy how this work is keeping a great timeline without all the jumping around. Staying in his youth for over 130 pages before going beyond this age and jumping back is really nice.
