I love middle grade horror but I don’t think one has ever made me want to throw up before🫠
Thinking about it makes me actually shiver, like full body shake and goosebumps😭

I do love middle grade horror but the author trying to appeal to actual audience hurts a little🫠

Reading this as someone who can’t picture things is really confusing🧍‍♀️ I have no idea what the character looks like, what does this «world» look like? I’m so lost but I’m also having fun? The descriptions are just not computing, I’m thinking about an octopus, a human, in a black void👯‍♀️

Reading these books can substitute more commonly used torture methods

Just realized this is the first book in a trilogi .-.
This 100% feels like it should be a standalone or at MOST a duology but maybe it makes more sense later? Thought this was going to be a favorite but it’s giving 5/10 and im sad about it
