Every character is a liar. This is fantastic!

Good setting, interesting world design, but I'm so annoyed with this main character that is a typical suburban mom. "Stay inside, don't fight, I'll give you snacks if you don't cry".... People are dying and she's protecting her kids from reality rather than help them get stronger.

Loving the accent of the narrator, the innocence of the main character, and the slow discovery of the world around him.

The main character does some really stupid things for a "geneticly and intellectually enhanced human".

I love this book so much, listening to it again for the third time!
