I have yet to hear a good reason they shouldn't just fill the Ice Tube with concrete. Maybe it won't cure quickly enough? Or the glass containers are too fragile to handle the weight of the wet concrete? What about expanding polyurethane foam? I feel like there are easier solutions than diverting a volcano.

Despite constantly claiming that they won't be able to do this whole thing without Mac, the military really keep pulling him away from his work to show instead of tell him about problems he can't do anything about.

Lewis wrote Transposition before the laser was invented, but today he might have instead called the concept of information from a higher medium expressed or encoded on a lesser medium Holography

I can excuse tiny blue men that are each stronger than three regular men, and even a mystical entity that brings the winter, but I draw the line at Granny Weatherwax violating the second law of thermodynamics.

My pet peeve is when music artists name their album after the first song in that album, and C.S. Lewis went and did that with this book >:(
