Короче, книжка ні про що, але легко читається і створює ілюзію, що у мене достатній рівень французької 😅

— Vous devriez sans doute m’appeler Adam et on devrait sans doute se tutoyer. — через те, що у французькій є і «ви» і «ти», перекладачка мала додати оце « tutoyer », аби зазначити перехід на ти. Цікаво, чи додавали цей момент в українському перекладі?

“Vous semblez pencher vers le ratage en règle.” — “Seems like you’re leaning toward screwup.”

“Et si je n’étais pas assez douée ?” — “What if I’m not good enough?”

Річардом Невіллом керувала несамовита амбіція. Я не можу уявити таке бажання влади і таку резильєнтність перед невдачами. В нього можна повчитись напористості, щоправда він погано кінчив. Як, в принципі, всі в Середньовіччі 😅
