Part 2 is so disappointing. I hate how this ended up being another corny urdu novel smh

I hate that my academics are coming in the way of my reading. Waiting for December so i can read in peace.

I am too invested in Maala to put it down but my review of this book will be different than any review I have written.

I am so sick and tired of urdu novels being misogynistic. Maybe I am being ‘too political’ or maybe i am too ‘woke’ to enjoy these novels like i used to. There was a time I liked reading novels written by ‘Ahmed’ sisters but now I don’t. The plot is interesting, the lessons are touching but the misogyny is real too. Not just misogyny but discrimination against certain sects and religious groups.

migraine season has officially begun but it’s difficult to put this book down.

reading non-curriculum books while being a law student is a feat in itself. i am genuinely curious to see if i will be able to finish my reading challenge for this year

I didn’t realise how many books I am currently reading at the same time. I probably will not be able to finish my reading goal this year but its okay because I want to understand a book not just read it.

This will probably take me months to finish but I am excited.

I thought I would finish this today but it is not possible. I hate that I have to carry the contents of this book another day but I am waiting for it to get better, for SOMETHING to work out.

Please end already, i can not take this anymore
