i like the writing, it's very beautiful and precise, but i'm not seeing a point kinda to this book? i get that mother / son are auditioning for their respective roles after years of estrangement i guess but like they don't interact much / seem distant still.

how did holmes dupe so many execs and vcs? was it fomo? was it hubris? bc just a rudimentary glance at their halfbaked tests, results, or lack thereof, i'd be afraid of being sued by a customer right away. if holmes were a man, would they still be as trusting towards the company?

insanely readable, loving it already! very tech thriller espionage vibes.

ok plot twist was clever but arrived way too late.

my current theory is that Robin actually wrote the plot to rock paper scissors and Adam stole her idea and now Robin wants revenge...
