A time I felt unity was In DnD club, even though we get sidetracked a lot. We are there to have fun and play characters.

The song conveys the theme of the book, which is that we are too focused on the future and not on the present; we need to slow down and appreciate what we have in front of us, rather than worrying about what will happen in the future. This is shown in the quote, "Will I be pretty, will I be rich' Here's what she said to me. que sera, sera Whatever will be, will be The future's not ours to see."

I would let them get their feelings out and then try to talk to them sensibly after.

I agree that they are being oppressed like other minorities in the past. I think they should fight for their rights. Because, as it was stated in the book, they are still the same people as they were before the strings appeared.

I actually despise him; he's not a good man, he's a major conservative man, and he off-put me off when he's in the book. This can be seen in Jack's first part on pg 93, when it is stated, "And who would've thought that getting knocked up was the only good thing that woman would ever do? We were so worried about the liability, but... now you've got your own legacy."

hank checks his string when they are revealed to be real. He then just sets it out in his place. This is diffrent becasue other people hide their strings somewhere in there places they stay. It tells that hes a pretty open guy not even hiding the thing that tells you how long you have to live from others that visit.

Do I believe in miracles? No, I don't believe in miracles. I don't have an example because I've never seen one happen before, which has caused me to not believe in them

it will probaly affect hank in that the person he turned away(im assuming) became the shooter; that he will feel guilty and responcible for the lives that have been lost from the shooting. This might create a backlash at the hospitals for turning away people with short strings but no physical illnessess or problems. causing them to change their policy or to get even more backlash
