This book is nothing like the first 2 in the series and I am very glad I continued on.

I think I am becoming less tolerant in my old age. Chapter 1 Fall 1830.
Fall!! Nobody says fall in the UK its Autumn. this really irritated me.

OK so at the start of this book I'm like I hate Tennyson I do not want to read this book. I even thought of skipping it but I couldn't bring myself to do that.
So here we are at the end of chapter 6 and I'm like ok so I'm starting to like Leo.

Well 2020 was a bit rubbish!! I am lucky not to have lost anyone to covid and working all the way through (all be it working from home) has kept me sane.....kinda. I didn't read many books last year as my attention span is rubbish at the moment and I can't see 2021 being much different. So I say bring on the short stories and novellas, I read a few at Christmas and it was enough to feed my addiction. Happy New Year!

What the heck we seem to have skipped a good few years since Fractured Ties, at first I thought I'd missed Kon's book! Things have certainly changed in the Boykov Bratva but I am sure there is method in the madness I just hope it doesn't leave me confused 🤔

Alright I'm FINALLY getting around to this book and I think it's the cover that's put me off I just don't like it...sorry!! I'm a total cover whore and this has an old epic movie vibe that just doesn't do it for me.
