holy shiet i’m screaming!! there’s so much going on but i literally need MOREEE. every chapter literally feels like im watching a tv show and it ends on a cliff hanger. every. single. one.

the man darien cassell is… i truly was hesitating to start the book bc 1) it’s almost 1k pages long 2) the last time i picked up this series was over a year ago so i really don’t remember what the last book was about and how it ended. HOWEVER im 20% of the way in and 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 i remember and im living for it!!. kayla edward’s writing is just too good to not remember

i’m so over this book bruh. the fmc is getting on my last nerve i swear. it’s like pulling teeth to finish this damn nasty ass book. the spice is so redundant at this point and there’s no angst. AND ITS SO UNHINGED, the stuff that’s in there is nasty lmfaoooo. but lowkey im glad im reading it bc every now and then i need a book that humbles me. i can’t keep loving every book i read 🤣

only 33 pages in and it’s cracking me upppppp 🤣 it’s giving urban romantasy, which i didn’t know it was, but i’m absolutely loving it

i think bc of the break i took in between that i cannot get back into it the same way i did when i was starting the series 🥲 hopefully one chapter at a time will start bringing my interest back

i’m hooked i’m obsessed i’m devouring this book and series. i literally haven’t felt so connected to fantasy characters and the world and the words on pages since blood and ash! and it’s YA/NA!! i’m the biggest vibe reader, if i read something and it’s not what i’m in the mood for then pass. this was such a needed cleanse and break from all of the dark smut i’ve been eating up! chefs freaking kiss
