Still slow going, but it is starting to slowly pick up. Finally made it to chapter 10.

This book is really good so far, whenever I have a free moment, I am reading it. I will read it for hours when I have the time to.

At this point, the further I get in the more I start to think that Kayla was physically abused but her dead husband Michael. I think it was so bad that she repressed those memories, and on the day he died when he was drowning and she watched it happen and didn’t help because she saw her chance to escape her abuser and took it.
