Don’t mind me if you see multiple books in a row that I read years ago and want to reread.

I was looking for a new RH to read, popped up on Amazon, read reviews, saw their names were DERVLA, Aidan, Declan and Cormac…. LOL I don’t think I could read it for that alone. Jk kind of but I also usually don’t enjoy RH unless it’s a series bc how are you supposed to connect with so many MCs in one book? Just a personal preference, of course.

Ok I’m 30% the way through and this book started off strong and then just… doesn’t get better? Lines are cheesy af and nothing is happening the way I thought it would. I think this is a DNF for me.

Still need to write review for this one BUT I am irritated by some of the reviews… Do not read pitch black if you do not like pitch black, then go and rate it 1 star for the fact it's pitch black. Author has stated it is NOT a dark romance book before you even read it-This is in the erotic horror genre. Someone thought it was going to be like Haunting A? 😂 I honestly wouldn't have picked it up if it was.

On part 2 now of Shadowface 1979… yet again Rhea Ryan proving she is one of the most underrated dark romance authors out there.

I’ve been WAITING for a new Elle book. I’m only 3% in and just reminded of how much I love her writing.

In the middle of moving and needed a reread bc for some reason I can’t pay attention to a new book (my mind is on overload.) I forgot how much I loved this one… I am surprised I haven’t reread sooner!!!

Finally stared this one! Just finished a reread of Elle’s Gods of Tomorrow duet and man… I feel like it’s so underrated. So now I’m taking my book hangover from that duet to hopefully get a good fix from her newest book!

Don’t you love when you read negative reviews complaining about a book and it’s actually just a selling point for you to read said book?

Wait… why did I not know there was a whole new series in this universe?! I’m in a serious book slump and if someone can take me out of it I hope it’s Ms. Selena 🙇‍♀️

Finished part 2 and waited a little to do so because I am not sure my heart can wait for the rest of the book until August (I will thought bc her stories are like no other. UGH MY HEART)

If I had to pick one author to read for the rest of my life it would easily be KV Rose.

Will update my review later but just want to say how beautiful her writing is. Raw, real and gritty in the best kind of way. Excited to read Storm’s books would be an understatement.

Ugh KV’s writing truly sucks me in so deep. Her writing is deep, raw, gritty and beautiful- truly poetic and want to highlight almost every other sentence.

I LOATHE Cadie. I’ve tried not to since previous book and I know I’ll feel different when she gets her own book most likely but ugh

help… I can’t get into this even though I am fairly certain I read this years ago (probably why I can’t remember anything.) I see so many people love these series. Does it get better? I also read you should read this book as if sets up the whole series with the characters.

Ok I wasn’t sure if I would like this and I’m 20 chapters in… so good. I wish it was a published book/series 👀

So excited the second book is out! I am finally starting this one. J Rose’s writing is amazing and she writes broken, beautiful characters so well. She does RH so well too which can be hard to come by these days.

I’m only about 15% of the way in and can tell I already love this even more than War and Halen’s story! I am going to be up late tonight I can already tell… because Priest and his cold dead heart ugh *swoon*

I’ve been trying to space out KV’s books because I’m addicted to them and her writing. I still can’t find anything that compares to my love for Ecstasy and Ominous… Unsainted series too 🧑‍🍳💋 excited to finally start this one. 😈
