I didn’t expect to feel this stressed reading something so short. The Double felt less like another person and more like everything the main character hates about himself walking around freely. I genuinely forgot the doctor even existed, so the ending caught me completely off guard. That switch-up made the whole story snap into place. My jaw was on the floor
