Okay I'm getting a little emotional reading this. I hated Jade so much but the depth to her character is insane... I knew there was a reason she acted the way she did but I didn't think it was anything like this. This is so real and raw and I relate so much internally. I'm not that far in and I can tell this is going to be my favorite book out of the series

Oh shit ya this is freaking dark that prologue had me UNCOMFORTABLE but for some reason it's the darker books that always get me, so I will enjoy this! I went from hating Caden in the prologue to thinking "hey he's just a normal guy" in chapter 1 so ya I'm gonna get whiplash forsure 🤣
