I think this book is doing the thing where friends are being super weirdly invested in the relationship and way out of bounds and don’t know any boundaries and overly familiar and just... way too codependent and too much in the heroines business... which I really dislike as a trope in general, but it’s also depicted as this great friendship?

I really like the hero and heroine, but these friends are just ugh.

Apparently the hero is a smokejumper and the lead singer in a rock band?? Which feels like too much hotness pushed into one romance hero, but we’ll see.

I voted in Work For It by Talia Hibbert under the best Romance category, because that book is definitely my best romance read of the year, and honestly, probably one of my top five romances ever.

So far I’m intrigued and excited. Hippo Cowboys are the coolest and there’s a whole array of queer characters, it’s great.

I want to like this, I really do but it’s not holding my attention at all.

It's so good but so harrowing, I've been binge reading, but now I kind of need to pauze and let it simmer because, fuck.

After yesterdays book I'm still pissy, so I'm changing genres. Big Time. Yes, I'm totally in the mood for Hulksmash romance. Bring it on.

My god. I've been sucked into the abyss that is Jasper and Alice fanfiction, and I've got no idea how to get out of it again. They are just so awesome.

So far it's surprisingly emotional for a story about gangbanging Vikings.

I almost don't want to read on. It's going to be so bad and sad and horrible. Sigh.
