There's nothing like reading a physical book again to remind me why I read so much on my Kindle. I lose the book for like 2 weeks and then I just forget to bring it with me everywhere. Classic Mars bullshit...

I love these characters!! They actually talk to each other!!!!! The bar is so low, boys, but this is actually good. The plot is flushed out, nothing is left hanging and all drama is incredibly believable.

So far this slaps and I’m remembering why I read so many of these books in 2014. It’s so much more fun when the conflict makes more sense because these are, quite literally, fucking barbaric times.

I know where this is going, but, also simultaneously, I have no idea where this is going. There are so many obstacles in this couples relationship it’s almost like Siggy Shade wants them to fist-fight god for the right to be in love.

It’s been a week, and I’ve only read 5 more pages. Everything Sienna thinks and it says is ridiculous, vain, and intolerable. Gonna try to push through on the hope that she learns a goddamn lesson somewhere in here but if she ends up being framed as an ‘outspoken, mouth heroine’ this may be my first 1 star of the year.

Scout might be one of my favorite heroines ever. She really just be telling that mobster whatever pops into her head.
