I’m finding it to be quite an engaging read.

Intriguing read so far.

Almost non-stop horror from the get-go.

I’m not sure how to classify this. A murder mystery but with a private investigator who is more of a “blue-collar” Sherlock Holmes. Arrowood’s companion is a bit more rough around the edges than Dr. Watson. This has more of a noir feel to it.

Sci-Fi with mystery, spies, and evidence of “aliens”.

A complex murder mystery, possibly connected, double murders.

A fantasy based on Norse mythology.

So far, another great one.

This is a re-read for me.

Fantastic so far.

I really prefer to start a series at the beginning. Somehow, with this one I didn't. Monk is a blank slate, due to an accident(?). Interesting so far.

I highly recommend reading these in chronological order. The character of Monk is a lot more likeable, at least for me.
