Got to know that U.S was presided by The President of the Continental Congress between 1774 - 1788. There were 14 presidents (Book says just 7) including Henry Middleton , who was in office for just 4 days. Those presidents were also informally called as "Mr.President".
Contrary to the book, The first president of congress was Peyton Randolph.
