Only 5% in and I'm less than impressed. I received this book through NetGalley and didn't know anything about the plot, author, or anything else but the assumed kink theme.
Just from this 5% it feels like a junior author was told to write a kink book and follow a predetermined formula.
I'm hoping this picks up, otherwise I'll have to shelve it as a DNF.

I can't pass this one without saying something:
The word should be 'pilot' but it is spelled 'piolet'
I didn't think it was even a real word, but according to Google, a piolet is a kind of ice axe. Definitely not the guy flying a hot air balloon!

I have to stop nitpicking. I'm 43% now and have 2 more mistakes to point out, but it's taking me away from the book. So I'll stop being a perfectionist and just get on with it. My last comment though - if you want people to pay money for a book, you need to make sure it's perfect before the reader gets it. Whether the fault lies with the author, editor, proof-reader or John from accounting...

'I shuttered' should be 'I shuddered'...unless you're a camera :)

should be 'self-conscious' not 'self-conscience'

I haven't understood 90% of what been said in the first 10 pages. I'm sure to someone familiar with logging it might make sense, but for me, I'm just grateful for the Internet search function in my Kindle app. :)

48% now. I couldn't handle the stress any more, so I completely skipped 2 chapters to avoid it. I'm happily reading once more.

40% in, and the drama is killing me. I love Valerie, and I know she is still very young, but after 3 years together how can she still have no trust in Flynn? I think he overreacted a bit, but I actually totally support his hard stance.
Gotta say though, if this doesn't get resolved fast, I don't know how much more I'll read... :(

The word used to describe 2 military men was 'boffin'. Having never heard that word before, I looked it up. It's a British slang term for scientist or technological researcher. Not army grunts delivering news.

I'm only 4 pages in, and come across this: "Sex was the driving force that got two people together – unfortunately it wasn’t so good at helping those same shifters reach their HEA" Their HEA? Pretty sure only authors and readers use that term...not Troy the wolf.

Trevor, Colby and Kenny were all at the same initial auction, right? The twins talk to a pregnant omega before buying Trevor. Colby mentions that everyone was buzzing about a human omega. So why does Colby meet Trevor when he is 2 months pregnant? Why has Kenny been gone from his alpha for only 3 weeks but Colby and Rafe have already bonded and now he is pregnant too? This series needs a serious continuity edit!

The timeline between the 3 books of this series is totally messed up.
