Good so far. However, a bit confused about the author's portrayal of phone calls. You shouldn't hear someone else's conversation - crosstalk - when using a cell and it was clearly mentioned that they text and there are End Call buttons. Did I miss something? This bit of logic (or lack of) is bothering me. Does anyone have an explanation?

This is the worst book I've ever had the misfortune to read. If it weren't for school, I would have dropped it long ago. And there I thought The Scarlet Letter and The Old Man and the Sea were awful...

Can't. Put. Down. So good! I want to finish, but I don't want to be done with it.

Ridiculous, but quite amusing. Enjoying it so far.

Great idea, but NEEDS EDITING.

Ugh...I keep putting it down and forget I'm reading it. It's moving way too slowly and nothing relevant to the plot (the greater plot) seems to be occurring. May have to mark as DNF.

Really starting to like Brental. Great character development, both on his account and Treace's. A little baffled about why he's helping Treace right now, but I'm not complaining!

Better 'cliffhangers' at the end of chapters. But, to be honest, I just wanted to read about Treace; I don't care all that much about Brental.

Does the author not have an editor? The story has soul (which is why I'm still reading), but there are a LOT of places it could flow better. Fight scenes, for example. There's too much description about where a foot goes, or a hand, or an arm....Give me the juicy bits, make it quick. Fight scenes are fast and fierce. Not bogged down with details - and readers don't want to know every precise limb location.

Geez, Gwen, use that brain you're 'famous' for!!! Being stupid and NOT THINKING is not what I want to read about. You're in the middle of a death-match, girl, so use your freakin' skull! Seriously, too much stupid just gets really irritating, really quickly.

Self-doubt's getting a little annoying...Stop whining and be like Nike's slogan: Just do it. She's just seeming a bit OOC and it's bothering me. And yet, I'm still (mostly) enjoying it. (Sorry for all the complaints.)

Definitely enjoying it much more now that I figured out what was bugging me. I think knowing that something was bothering me was distracting because I couldn't figure out WHAT was bothering me. Anyway, liking it a lot better now!

Ah-ha! I think I finally figured out what's bothering me! I realize the series is called 'The Atlantis Grail', but this book seems to be deviating from what, to me, is the most interesting aspect and main plot: the asteroid and Earth going BOOM. It just feels like a big detour...?

Also, I don't really like her hitting him. If you love someone, you DO NOT hit them. Perhaps playfully, but not in anger. Although I totally understand why she would be upset. Even so...

So far so good! My only complaint is all the proper nouns. I realize it's probably to make things seem important, but good lord, not everything needs to be capitalized. It gets annoying.

Still just as good the third or fourth or fifth time. Noticed some things I hadn't before, so that means it's always a good book. :) The only problem I have is that some of the grammar could be improved. I've noticed a few errors. Other than that, I love this series!

Gah, I wish they would get a clue already because it's so stinkin' obvious that Bish and Jen are doing the pre-imprint thing! You guys are supposed to be smart. You're Aces, for crying out loud, you should know these thing! Also, I really wish they'd doing the 'I love you', 'I love *you*' because yes, *we get it*. And (one more thing, and I'll stop complaining; I'm just in a mood), the plot could speed up a bit.

Good LORD, child, how stupid can you be??? May have to call it quits soon...

So far so cliche. Something keeps making me pick it up again, but I'm not sure whether it's the book or if I'm just bored. Got the two-book deal from Amazon, so I guess we'll see where it goes. SPOILER: From the moment she got called Marsha the Martian and revealed her 'fantasy', I knew exactly what was going to happen. If you're going to have a 'twist', make sure it's a twist. Don't tell us about it first.

Bit of a slow start, but really enjoying it now. Love the tales that are in Geileis's parts. Really don't want to stop reading - why must life get in the way?

I've been with this series since it started, but now I'm getting annoyed. Too many characters trying to be main characters. If you're all in the same area/scene, don't keep switching back and forth from character to character to character and repeating the same things. It's distracting and, worse, jars the reader out of the story. Please tell me someone else feels the same way...?
