I love everything about this author but I'm struggling with this. I lived and loved the 90s so I knew every song referenced. But this is strictly email conversations between "strangers" and it feels like some sort of masters level music theory class focusing on diving deep into the lyrics. I pick it up and don't last very long. I have some decisions to make.
