I'm halfway through this book, and I'm struggling with it. I love Rachel Mclean's books, but this one is very boring, and I'm going to abandon it at this stage. I wouldn't recommend it at all,
and I won't be reading any more of this series.

I got to the end of chapter 4, then had to stop reading. The book is poorly written, the characters are awful, they have no chemistry and are so mismatched. I can't see how so many people are rating it with 4 and 5 ☆. For me, it was utter drivel, and I wasn't prepared to waste any more time on it.

I'm listening to this on audible, and whilst I like the stories and the narrator is decent, it's being spoilt for me by the music that keeps playing between chapters. It's completely unnecessary.

I'm listening to this book on audible. I'm enjoying the story. However, I'm not enjoying the narrator. Her name is Pat Star, and she over pronunciates almost every word. If a word starts or ends with a D, S, T, K sound, etc. You can hear her breath very clearly too, which I'm finding very annoying. I'm only 26 chapters in and don't know if I'll be able to persevere with this.

I'm halfway through listening to this book, but I'm afraid I'm going to DNF it. This is a rare thing for me, but I can't justify any more time on it as I've lost interest in the characters, and I've lost the will to continue with it.

I got as far as chapter 11 with this audible book, but I had to DNF it. I rarely quit on a book, but this was so bad I couldn't justify another 4 hours of listening to it. I've read many boss/assistant books, but I didn't like either of these characters or supporting characters,
and the story just didn't work for me at all. It's unlikely I'll read more of this author based on this work.

I'm listening to this on audible. Sadly, the narrator is spoiling the story for me. I listened to her, CJ Bloom, narrate another book, and although the story was good, her narration cost it 2☆. I liked the premise of this book but then saw who was narrating and I wasn't sure about it, however I decided to try and she sounds just the same, very high pitched, shouty and angry. I won't listen to others read by her.

I'm not very far into this book, listening to it on audible. The female narrator is absolutely awful. Her voice is very high-pitched, and she's constantly shouting rather than talking, no matter which character she's portraying. I'm doubtful I'll get to the end with her voice shouting in my ear.

I've almost made it half way through but I have to admit defeat and give up on this book. It never gripped me and the more I read the less interested I am in the characters, I just cannot relate to any of them and need to DNF for my own sanity.

I liked the premise of this story but it has failed spectacularly to live up to its blurb. To start with it is absolutely littered with grammatical errors and mistakes which I can't abide, especially the amount in this book. Secondly to the point I've reached in the story I'm not liking any of the characters and thirdly I'm not loving the way it's been written, to me there is no structure to it. I'll not read anymore

I'm so bored with this story. Ariana is not a likeable character at all, she's immature and has so many issues. When you're totally against paparazzi and tabloids you do not get involved with a famous musician. Gabriel is a nice character but I just can't face reading any more of this story and unfortunately that means I won't read the others in the series either.

I've read several books by this author and enjoyed them but I'm afraid I'm not liking this one. I don't love the characters, the story is unbelievable and it's incredibly long winded, so much pointless dialogue and repetitiveness and at this half way stage I've become too bored to continue with it. DNF

I'm not enjoying this book at all, I hate the constant flipping from present to past, I am definitely not a fan of the back and forth. The main characters have known each other for almost 20 years never speaking of their mutual attraction to each other. I find it hard to believe that she'd ditch her fiancee at the altar after being with him for 8 yrs when she suddenly realised she's not in love with him. DNF

The hero wants to get back with an ex and he's arranged for her to be in his club so he can reignite their "relationship". At 9% he's indulged in cocaine and 3 women and he's now accosted the ex invading her personal space, touching her and being lewd, all this whilst she is telling him to move and NO. At this point I'm not prepared to read anymore. Pushing and forcing yourself onto someone is not acceptable.

Having read other Berry Springs and the Cabin books I'm struggling with this one, it's been very slow getting started with a lot going on but nothing making any sense and a male lead that is a miserable SOB and not at all likeable. This is a long story and with such a poor start I don't think I'm going to be able to complete it.

This book is really slow, 59% in and chapter 97, I'm losing interest fast and finding it difficult to persevere with it.

I liked the premise of this book and so far I'm enjoying the story, however, every page is riddled with grammatical and punctuation errors which is making it very hard to read. At only 17% in I'm struggling to keep my focus as I have to keep going back to reread and try to make sense of it. Lots of authors are self published but I don't think anyone has proof read this at all. Can I continue is the big question.

I'm half way through this book and it's gone nowhere. They are screwing each other, hiding it from the brother/best friend. I just know the brother is going to find out, shit's going to hit the fan, Jordan will likely get punched and it'll be a happy ever after. I don't need to waste any more time reading about people I've long lost interest in. A DNF for me.

I'm afraid this is a DNF for me. All the characters and the writing style are juvenile, with lots of references to star wars. The male lead is 25 and the female is 35 and the story reads like a teenage angst fest. Lots of pointless dialogue and with several more hours to read I've already lost interest.

The initial pages of this story pulled me in but I'm afraid I quickly lost interest. The POV is all over the place, Alex and Andy are boys names but can also be girls, no real description of these two characters have been given and now the author is leading us to the LGBT community so I'm getting the feeling I know where this unexpected love/twist is going. For being a quarter way through this book I'm not loving it

This is a DNF for me. I'm at 22% and the story has gone nowhere. The plot and characters are so weak and I don't see it improving, therefore I'm not wasting any more time on it.

This is a DNF for me, it hasn't gripped me at all and the timeline keeps jumping which makes it hard to follow.

I'm really struggling with this book, I haven't warmed to either main character and being only just over half way I've lost interest in the story so this is going to be a DNF for me 🙄

This book is so awful it's not worth any stars. The writing style is juvenile as are the characters and at only 16% I couldn't justify spending any more time on it.

The characters come across as quite immature even though I think they are mid to late 20's, up to this point there has been no mention of their ages so I don't have a clue.

I am really struggling with this book and I've persevered with it up until now. However, I'm just about half way through and I have lost all interest in the characters and story so I will not be finishing this book.

I have struggled to read this story. I find the characters juvenile, the story isn't going anywhere and I'm afraid at 43% and the end of chapter 15 I'm giving up, I have no desire to waste more of my time on this book, nor will I be reading the next instalment of the series.

I'm not quite half way through this book and I have literally been bored to death by it. It is rare for me not to finish a book but there is no way that I can continue with this drivel so in this instance I'm quitting.
