Love the chemistry between these two and I'm quite interested to see how they manage to work things out.

Well...sitting in the sunshine - taking a break from exploring NOLA on my own - and I suddenly get the shivers as I read: "Run, girl, run as far and as fast as you can." Oh, boy.

...I'm intrigued by the plot, but find myself unable to connect with any characters. Not sure I'm digging the voice.

The story is good, so far, but the internal dialogue doesn't seem to match the characters. 2 intelligent, educated adults have thoughts that sound like they belong to a a teenager. Though, I'm hooked & want to see where this goes.

I really didn't understand all the negative hoopla about this book. It was typical over-the-top Ward.
