On a new hunt for a specific genre of historical romance novels ;)

I just finished Duke of Scandal. Was an absolutely delightful read. From the moment I picked it up I couldn't put it down so I read it one sitting. Definitely recommend this one. This author has come a long way with her writing. While her earlier work tended to quite frankly go on and on and bore you she has definitely finally found her groove. Will happily read her next book when it is released.

I read Lady Sarah's Sinful Desires: Secrets at Thorncliff Manor and gave 5 stars. An absolutely delightful read that amazingly was without the degree of smut that so many romances have in them today while still showing chemistry between the two main characters. It had all the necessary ingredients for a smashing read which is romance, mystery, intriguing characters, drama, and even humor. Bravo.

I finished Highland Surrender. I went into reading this novel with doubt as to how good it would be. I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of writing and the well paced plot. It was even true and authentic to its time period. I would recommend this novel to anyone who has a good 4 to 5 hours to spare since once you start reading you will not want to stop reading. Bravo.

I just finished Four Nights with the Duke (Desperate Duchesses Book 8). Actually was a good book even though the original 5 books in this series are by far the best out of the series.

I just finished How to Propose to a Prince (Royle Sisters). Absolutely wonderful :) Was an absolute joy to read. So much so I read the entire book in less than a few hours lol.

I just finished The Perfect Rake (Merridew Series Book 1). Delightful.

I just finished Lady in Red (Avon Historical Romance). Delightful read.

I just finished Lord Rakehell. I usually only write reviews for books I enjoy unless they are absolutely horrible. I'm sad to say this is one of those. This book isn't worth cleaning my dogs behind with. It took me over a day to read this book when it usually takes me only 3 hours because I had to force myself to keep on picking it back up to finish it in hopes it would get better. Horrendous.

I just finished The Duke's Holiday (The Regency Romp Trilogy Book 1). Delightful read even if historically inaccurate.

I just finished Into the Divine (Forbidden Love Book 6). An absolutely fabulous ending to the series even though there are plenty of books linked to this book if you haven't had enough of this family and do not want to say goodbye. Gotta say it has been awhile since a book has made me cry so hard or so much. Fabulous.

I just finished Phoenix (A Forbidden Love Novel, The Boston Clan) (Forbidden Love, Boston Clan Book 2).

Just finished Into Forever (Forbidden Love Book 5). Wonderful. Only one book left in this series that I haven read and I don't know how it is possible but I know it will be better than the previous books as every new book has been. Never thought I would enjoy a paranormal romance series but these are more grounded and wonderful reads. I would not be surprised to see them make movies out of them.

I just finished From the Ashes (Forbidden Love Book 4). Series just keeps getting impossibly better. Great book.

I just finished INTO THE FIRE (Forbidden Love Book 3). Amazing. Definitely got to finish this series.

I just finished INTO THE LIGHT (Forbidden Love Book 2). Not my preferred genre but good enough I want to finish the other two books in the series. If you like this genre you will absolutely love these books but I must say they get much better the further you go into the series.

I just finished Out of the Dark (Forbidden Love Book 1). Not my normal genre but talented author and enjoyable book.
