Mark has now been mentioned 4 times. The same "Mark" who was previously called Michael at least 3 times! I mean, there is such a thing as search & replace if you decide to change the name of a character. And how does no one catch this when reading through the book before release??

Ever so often I read something and just go “how did no one catch this”?

“Dex noddded.” – Dex has not actually introduced himself yet at this point. We do not know his name.
8 lines later the authors point this out:
“Before I could demand to know his name,…”

I mean, really? 8 lines! You literally have both those bits within your field of vision at the same time. SMH

I'm getting whiplash from how Daniel keeps switching between Maldwyn and Kent; they were apparently on a first name basis a few chapters in, now he is Kent again, except when he is Maldwyn? Make up your mind.

"You did support you,"

That...makes no sense. "You did support ME" is what you meant to say. As much as I love this story, this book has a surprising number of typos and errors :(

LOL - I think I've counted about 6 accents in the first hour alone. Enough to make me feel for the narrator.

Yes, they are cute together. Yes meeting the family is awesome. Yes, the sex is hot. But can we please get on with the story of how there is a nasty stalker out there since book one whom we still need to catch?

Editing is a thing. That books should go through. Just sayin....

I hate this ‘trope’. It hurts to roll my eyes this much over guys insisting they don’t want a relationship while effectively being in one!

Oh, come on. That's an author's cop-out, isn't it? Phone fell down and broke, battery empty, or someone using the phone daily for their work suddenly 'forgetting' it while doing that work. SMH.

Of course I'm just assuming this will become relevant over the next pages. I don't actually know yet ;)

Over 5 years since the last book in the series. I'll probably regret not re-reading the first ones, but I don't have time - too many new books to read. We'll see how it goes.

Sometimes having a shitty memory is a blessing. I listened to these years ago and apparently, I remember nothing. So I get the full enjoyment again. (Yes, I have also watched every episode of Midsomer Murders at least three times ;))

This one is slow. Sooooo slow...A bit of a struggle to be honest.

I love Red, I love Laz, and I love their story. But let's be honest - I'm here for Ace ;)

Wow, a person going from female to mail in just one sentence. That's impressive. Not! The editing in this book is underwhelming.
Earlier, Gruff was called Griff not once, not twice, but three times in three pages.....

I always enjoy Jay Hogan's books and how they are set in New Zealand. But I am particularly exited for this one since I was actually there earlier this year. And in Mackenzie Country too :)

So, the MCs in bed with a female - described in graphic detail - followed by references to them hooking up/spending the night with women on what feels like every other page for so far a third of the book, is not what I want to read in an MM romance.
I get it; they are not ready to be together yet, but seriously. Enough already!

London? I keep hearing London and how Alexi misses the ocean and beaches. But he went to Southampton?!

40% in and there have already been 4(!) incidents of character names getting mixed up. There are pretty much only 2 people in the story this far. Surely it should be possible to keep track of who is who? Why doesn't anyone catch this somewhere during the publishing process? It is seriously annoying!

“Do you recall the circumstances of our meeting?”
Calvin set the thermos on the table. “I woke up one day and you were in my bed,” he answered, knotting the tie around his neck.
“Thought it was a bit strange, but you were cute, so I let it slide.”

Well, this is depressing. Not just this particular page but the whole book. Wonder how far I still have to go in their story before something starts feeling good :(

And I don't mean that in a good way. The blurb promised me serial killer action. Instead these guys have spent the last two hours of this audiobook just going on a couple of dates.
Get on with it already!
