I've written "The End" - now to edit a book written over six very long years!

Max's Bumble is going in directions I didn't imagine! Hear the rumble of those jets? Someone's on the way to England to hunt down a witness ...

DNF. Incredibly slow. Kept hoping the pace would pick up but it didn't. I can see the cliffy coming and am not invested enough to continue. Returned to KU.

1/11 - finished the fight scene. Months of kickboxing with my daughter during lockdown has let me "write from what I know" and I enjoyed the technical elements of the fight more than I probably should have. ;)

5/12 - They're hanging with the bikers now, and Mac has to make a hard choice.
I think I'll include a character roster at the end, 'cause there are a lot of characters kicking around!

7/11 - Mac takes Brenna out to a hookah bar on their date.
I've only tried hookah once, over twenty years ago, and I'm having a tough time remembering what it's like! ;)

10/28 - "Tuxedo" is Brenna's new emotional safe word, and she's just used it. O.O

29/9 - Master Mac showed up at 2 am and told me his whole life story. I was crying into my pillow so hard that I woke up my poor husband! But now I feel like I know Mac so well. And if he woke me up that way, then I think it only right that he wake up Brenna that way... ;)

This book is coming on so fast and I'm so excited about it now. I've loved Master Mac from the start, but I was having trouble finding the key to Brenna's character. Once I realized that our girl was a kick-boxer, everything fell into place!

Improving as I'm reading. It didn't start well for me, as there was little Allie or Charlie, and the POV characters did not draw me in, but it's getting better now that we're firmly in Charlie's POV and the plot is beginning to unfold.
