1/11 - finished the fight scene. Months of kickboxing with my daughter during lockdown has let me "write from what I know" and I enjoyed the technical elements of the fight more than I probably should have. ;)

29/9 - Master Mac showed up at 2 am and told me his whole life story. I was crying into my pillow so hard that I woke up my poor husband! But now I feel like I know Mac so well. And if he woke me up that way, then I think it only right that he wake up Brenna that way... ;)

This book is coming on so fast and I'm so excited about it now. I've loved Master Mac from the start, but I was having trouble finding the key to Brenna's character. Once I realized that our girl was a kick-boxer, everything fell into place!
