Nothing happens here. I am ready to DNF

the longest book ever. flowery and slow. very little action/conflict. i am skimming pages like crazy and the effing thing is still not anywhere near the end.

So far Bo is very unlikable. He is rude (yes, dropping f-bombs several times in a sentence is rude), he is cryptic (because the author refuses to share), and he is quick to judge and push a person who was abused, suffered a horrific event and was let down by his people and family, shame and guilt forced on him for a 100 years.
There are also weird cultural references that not every reader can understand.

Poppy, or whatever her name is, is a condescending, heartless bitch. I hope she tastes her own medicine (pun intended) in one of the future installments.

On chapter 10.

So far, the book is about Bridget, her string of romantic emergencies and her (straight) wedding. Not about Lucien and Oliver.
