Finally starting to pick up, not sure I love the journal third person style mixed in with first person chapters. I do like the characters but there are so many it’s hard to keep track of all the little details.

Love, love, love. I can’t get enough of this book. Definitely some dark themes *murder and human trafficking mentioned* the banter between Rook and Asha, too good!

Haven’t read a mafia book in a minute & this one is not disappointing.

Currently listening to the audiobook and the NY accent is killing me💀 I’m convinced Nina has Millie in the house to have a second baby or is planning something crazy and then the daughter is going to kill her. Also the whole peanut allergy thing I was weird is the creepy child
In on all this? Then I started thinking that Nina was the previous girl Andrew has done this to and he’s the psycho one… we shall see

Soooo many questions! What does Osha really mean? Who is Saeris really? Is she a descendant of the previous royal line? Is Kingfisher’s father still alive? Will there be a love triangle now that Carrion Swift is in the fae realm? I need some more action to happen, we are moving at a snails pace and I want more!

Love this enemies to lovers, need some more world building. I’ve got a lot of questions…

Just getting into the world building. I keep flipping back to the map to figure out where we are. I have too many questions. What is Madra really? What is Kingfisher’s curse? What is Saeris meant to do? Is she part fae?

OMG, crying! They finally made it to the small town by the sea.

This book has been an emotional roller coaster. My hearts was RACING when they were tying to catch the train!

Love love loving! Should have checked trigger warnings though. There was SA mentioned, flashback wise. Louisa is so perceptive and the fact the artist called her one of them… crying.

Only 75 pages in and in my feels. I’m be already cracked up laughing and had tears in my eyes. Funny & emotionally charged, I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes Ted and Louisa!

The more I read the more questions I have. & yes I am team mentors (evens though this is supposed to be a why choose, not a throuple love triangle)
