Emily is on page 124 of 320 of Right Where I Belong
When I was young, I loved going to the book store and getting new books. However, as I've grown up and gotten more access to technology, I have become more prone to buying books on iBooks. I also enjoy reading books by authors on Wattpad. There are really good books on that website and some get published.

I love reading. I come from a family of book lovers. However, no one in my family likes the genres of books I like. My favorite genres of books are romance, teen fiction, and humor. My favorite books are ones that combine all of these. My father prefers reading nonfiction and my mother is partial to historical fiction. I normally read in my room, but I also read a lot on car rides. I read a lot in my free time.

This shows how much popcorn is in the large bowls. The author could have used the word "full", but this wouldn't have emphasized just how full the bowls are. The bowls aren't just full, but they have enough popcorn in them that it seems like the popcorn is going to fall out any second. These three connotative words gave this sentence the warm, casual feel it has.

The author could have used several other words, but they wouldn't have had the same feel to them. The author could have used "walked", but that takes away the casual feel of "strolled." The author could have used "skipped", but that implies the character is excited or happy about something. In this sentence, the character is simply content. The final connotative word I found in this sentence is "overflowing."

Another word that means a good smell is "fragrance." However, this wouldn't work as well since this term would sound strange because it is so often used with a description of perfume. The second connotative word I found in this sentence is "strolled." "Strolled" implies a leisurely walk. It shows that this is a calm, undramatic scene.

The first sentence of the twenty-eighth chapter of this book is, "The aroma of popcorn settled around Blake's bedroom when he strolled in, holding two large bowls overflowing with it." The first connotative word I found in this sentence is "aroma." The author could have used a variety of words that mean smell, but they chose "aroma." This is because "aroma" gives the reader the idea that the popcorn smells delicious.

This author uses many words that hold a specific connotation to them. This helps to build the scene in the reader's mind. I have chosen a specific sentence in the book that has three connotative words that I believe really help in showing what is happening.

The book follows the lives of three different characters in three different stories. The three characters live in the same town and occasionally numb into each other. The book was funny, but at the same time, really sweet. In a Barnes and Noble review by Heather Christensen, it was said that, "There is plenty of physical humor for laugh-out-loud fun and enough dreamy romance to warm up those cold winter nights.

I wanted to buy this book for a couple of reasons. When I saw this book in a bookstore, I was looking for books by John Green. The cover immediately captured my attention. Ever since I was in the sixth grade, I've loved almost everything about winter. I saw the beautiful white snowflakes and the blue background and immediately wanted to get it.

She was just mislead. Her reasoning made sense at the surface, but she needed good friends to open her eyes to the fact that she helped more people on her own, without the fat suit. This book is amazing and the characters are hilarious.

She wants to be the person that people can compare themselves to and always end up feeling better. Then, she meets people who see through her disguise and become her friends. From them, she learns that she can do more good by being herself. I believe when Serena wore a fat suit and acted mean, she had a good reason.

She began writing her first book, "My Life with the Walter Boys," when she was only fifteen and posted it on a site called Wattpad. She attracted many fans on Wattpad so in 2013, when Wattpad formed a partnership with the publishing company, Sourcebooks, she was offered the chance to publish her story. She worked hard to edit the story and it finally got published.

Ali Novak, the author of, "My Life with the Walter Boys," was born in Wisconsin on Memorial Day. She has two younger siblings, Jackie and Peyton. Her interest in books began when she was in grade school, when her mother introduced her to the Nancy Drew series. She was inspired to write her own stories and soon found herself jotting down notes for story ideas when she was supposed to be paying attention in class.

After she discovered it, she was hooked. She couldn't stop checking it because she loved all the books and having such quick access to them. I felt the same way when I first discovered Wattpad. Every spare moment I had was spent reading books on Wattpad and thinking of ideas for my own. Both Julie and I love Wattpad and all of the marvelous books on it.

I really relate to the main character, Julie, because of her hobby. She really likes to read and write books on a site called Wattpad. I also really love reading and writing on that site. Julie first discovered Wattpad when she found out that she could read so many wonderful books all for free. This is what made me first start reading books on Wattpad.

The book states, "She gasped loudly, her eyes lighting up. 'So you watched the whole preview? Doesn't Fighter look absolutely amazing?'" The author shows that Tori really likes the actor and is a bit obsessed with him. Overall, there is way more indirect characterization in this book than direct characterization.

The book says, "'What?' I hissed to myself, 'I sat through this whole movie, and he lives? This is ridiculous...'" This implies that Sophia didn't want to main character to live and wanted to see him die. Another example is when the author is introducing Sophia's best friend, Tori. Sophia admits she has seen the trailer to a movie with an actor Tori really likes and Tori immediately begins talking about the movie.

The author writes in first person and mainly uses indirect characterization to introduce her characters. For example, when Sophia, the main character, is watching a movie, the author shows how different she is from other people. Although the rest of the audience is rooting for the main character to survive, Sophia feels differently.

Other times, there was a narrator's point of view where the book hinted about what was to come next. The changing point of view helped the reader understand all sides of the story instead of just seeing one side. It helped the reader understand why characters acted a certain way. It also assisted in letting the reader know whether a character was good or bad.
