My favorite book I have read this year is chasing Mavericks. This is my favorite book because it is inspiring and it has a universal theme. This book is also very entertaining and interesting. Jay Moroiarty is the most impairing person I have read about because he has overcame so many challenging obstacles. The message I get from this book is that with the right amount of determination you can make dreams come true.

This book is similar to another book I read about Mick Fanning. They are both books about professional surfers and they both had a hard upbringing. Both of their parents got divorced. Kelly Slaters family was poor and his dad was an alcoholic while Micks family could barely put food on the dinner table. From these big obstacles Kelly and Mick both became some of the best surfers in the world.

In this part of the novel Kelly starts traveling from Florida to California for surf competitions. He is not used to the bigger surf in California and gets out in the second round. His family was to poor to pay for his trip so his sponsor Quiksilver payed for his travel. Because he did so poorly Quiksilver deeply considered dropping Kelly from the team. Thankfully they didn't cause the next contest in Florida he won.

The character that I'm exploring about in the novel is Kelly Slater. He has grown by all the hardships he has faced. His dad is an alcoholic, his family was very poor, and him and his brother spent all of there time in the ocean. His dad left his family when he was drunk driving with kelly and his brother. He got into a crash and went to jail. All of these challenges made Kelly grow as a person and a surfer.

This book is about the upbringing of a professional surfer named kelly slater. He is easily the best surfer to ever live. I choose this book because I wanted to see how kelly became the surfer he is today. It is compelling because he did not have an easy life. His dad was an alcoholic and his family could barely afford to have dinner. I have become a stronger reader because I am more excited to read.

I thought it was very interesting when Kelly said that the waves never got above 2 foot in Florida where he is from and he still is one of the best surfers alive. This proves that you don't need to be raised at a place with perfect waves to become a pro surfer. I also thought it was interesting when he talked about his family background with his dad being an alcoholic.

After the 2008 year, Mick Fanning wanted to change how he prepared for surf competitions by making resolutions. The first one was that he wanted to eat healthy so that he could be in the best shape possible. Secondly, he started working out and training for longer hours. These two resolutions got him 3 world titles between the 2008 and 2014 years.

This week this book has mostly talked about mick fanning and how he prepares for contests. He gives tips about how to surf in contests and says that you should have a routine before every heat. He listens to music to get himself pumped and doesn't talk to anyone. He clears his mind by meditating before each heat. It blocks out the pressure for him. He has helped me surf better in contests.

Mick Fannings identity is a man who works very hard to achieve his goals. He inspires me to work hard and he also inspires everyone else. People have a lot of respect for him because of how much he has been through. Another one of his identitys is the best surfer in the world.

Tim Baker wrote this book about Mick Fanning because he is one of the best surfers in the world and has an interesting and harsh background. He also wrote this book about Mick so people can see how he became so good at surfing and what his work ethic was.

I can relate to Mick Fanning because we both love surfing and we both do surf contests. We are also not realtable because he has had a much harder life. When he was 2 his parents got divorced and when he was 17 his brother died drunk driving. He looked up to his older brother his whole life and I could not imagine what life would be like without my brother.

If I could interview anyone in my book I would interview Gerry Lopez. I would ask him how surfing was like in the mid 1900s compared to the surfing now. In reply I would think that he would say the level of surfing now is better than earlier, but there were a lot less surfers and they rode longboards back in the day and now people ride shortboards.

The main idea of this part of the story is that Gerry Lopez goes on a surf trip to Indonesia. When he went there no one else knew that the waves were good so him and his friend shared the best waves of there lives with no one else out. This was one of his most special and most fun times he has ever had. He ended up staying there for two months and having the time of his life.

I would love to be the main character for this story because she wins a gold and silver medal in the Olympics! I love swimming and winning a gold in the Olympics would be a dream come true. She also has lots of sponsors that pay her millions of dollars to be in their commercials. I would love to be Susan Carol.

Right now in the book I am at the beginning part of the resolution. Susan Carol is in the Olympics and is preparing for the final. She has lots of good swimmers in her heat and she is excited to get in the pool and everyone else is nervous and scared with millions of dollars on the line. Susan Carol swims because she loves it while the other are swimming for the money and fame.

I like the book that I am reading right now. I would rate this book an 8 out of 10 because it is about swimming and I like swimming but sometimes it can get boring in some parts but most are interesting. I would recommend this book to a friend named Ryan. He plays waterpolo just like me and likes to swim. And he does swim team and he is a very good swimmer.

If I were the author of this book, I would talk more about Susan Carols hometown and how she likes school. The author tells to much about Susan's swimming and not enough about her life in one piece. To find more about Susan carols swimming career I could look her up online and read about her.

Jay was very happy to hear this from his idol. Kristy who jay loved so much told jay that she loves him also and she knew that jay was the one from the beginning. I can relate to the main character of the book jay because we both love surfing and are in love with the ocean. We both also have blond hair and like to surf big waves. We are very much alike and I can relate to Jay very well. The thing that isn't relatable about us is that he is very poor and has to go through lots of hard times. And I have a life where I don't have to go through many tough times.
