Baby’s First Marlon James Book.

For me, from what I’ve heard, the Holy Trinity of True Crime is IN COLD BLOOD, HELTER SKELTER, and this book right here. Ann Rule is one of the most prominent, prolific, and popular true crime writers of all time. I can only guess that the reason for that is because her books are really good. I hope that’s the case.

Started a monthly true crime book club on Fable because I’m bored and have nothing else better to do with myself until 2027.

Dog-sitting for 4 weeks, so here’s to hoping I’m able to get a lot of reading in! 🙏🏼

You know the defense attorney is awful when the jury has to pass a note to the bailiff requesting NoDoz for themselves and sleeping pills for the defense attorney. 💀

There’s something absolutely addictive in reading about this trial. My eyes hurt.

Was slacking a little bit with Part 3, but I’m hoping to power through Parts 4 and 5 to get to the trial… I just know some more crazy shit’s bound to happen before then.

Part Two done. Enter Vincent Bugliosi.

Rewinding back a couple pages and picking this back up! Looks like this is gonna be a solo read.

Massive bombshell dropped. Now all that’s left are the confessions and a verdict. I’m terrified to read what this man did.

HOOKED. Still waiting for that smoking gun.

Yeah this book goes hard.

Crazy that a nearly 700-page book is acting as a palate cleanser for a 240-page book. That Dahmer book really was ass, and I’m glad to be done with it.

But I digress. This is a true crime classic and I’m excited to read it!

This is a book that has really missed the mark for me so far. I’m almost done and I’m ready to be done with it.

Don’t know how to feel about Schwartz’s sympathy for the three officers who let a naked child go back home with Dahmer and her apathy for the police chief who fired them… It’s starting to feel a little biased up in here.

Interesting and lowkey very thought-provoking. Dahmer was a manipulative mf.

Just got back onto Goodreads to see a bunch of ads for colostrum soda…
