Is this supposed to be funny? Because it's not. I'm skimming through the smexy times because I don't want to read Hiro's "funny" thoughts.

DNF. I really really tried, but I think this author and I are done. The overarching plot is really good, but there's too much telling instead of showing. Plus people don't talk like that!

Ya'll, there's something wrong with me! Leland is actually irritating me! I think I'll put this book down for now and come back later. Maybe then I'll enjoy Leland's zaniness...

I'm only 68% finished?? Sheesh, let's move the story along a little faster! The fact that I've been reading this for 3 days off and on isn't promising...

I won't say I know exactly how Grayson feels, but I had a very similar experience when I woke up in the hospital last year after nearly dying from pneumonitis. I'd been in the ICU for over 2 weeks and had lost so much muscle mass that I couldn't move. It's a very frightening and humbling experience.

I liked the characters, but the grammatical errors got to be too much in a boxed set like this. I finally gave up with Liam's story.

Ya'll, I read a book a day. The fact that I'm on day 3 of this book is not promising. I'm struggling to finish, and I'm not sure I care enough about the characters to make it all the way. Maybe I'll just skip ahead and read the ending.

I don't think this can be read as a standalone. I've missed too much of who Cody and Danny are. That may be why I don't care as much as Ty does about their opinions.

DNF. OMG, the dialogue is so stilted and cheesy, and I have yet to figure out the age difference between the two men. I just can't believe that Beck would agree to step into his mom's job right after the funeral.

I feel like Max is being fed to the sharks right now...

I'm having a lot of fun reading this series. Normally the whole mpreg thing squicks me out. You're asking me to suspend my disbelief way too much. But it works here.

Whoops -- picked up the wrong book!

It was 11 last night, and I had to go to bed. Grr!

I just want to cuddle both Oryn and Vaughn. I do wonder, though, why Vaughn hasn't scheduled an appointment to see Oryn's therapist (with Oryn present!) to help him understand what Vaughn needs to do to help Oryn. Too much is Vaughn guessing what to do next.

I had to force myself to stop reading at 11 p.m. last night and go to bed! And now dang it, I have to work...

I should know better than to start a new Nora Roberts late at night. I had to make myself put the Kindle down at 2 a.m.

Whelp, Gabe's not real bright, is he?

Oh, wow. The world-building is simply amazing. I feel like K.C. Charles's version of 1923 London is real.

Dang it, why do I have to put the book down and go to bed??

Well, I really do like that paycheck that helps me buy more books... (sigh)

Dana's girlfriend Jess is obviously working for the bad guys. How can he not see it??

Ms. Ford's world-building is amazing! I had to make myself put this down last night to get some sleep.
